Android – AdMob error: there is not enough space to display ads. 320 is required × 50 DP, but only 309 × 0 dp

I'm trying to put smart banner ads into my clip layout, and all I get is "there's not enough space to display ads. need 320 × 50 DP, but only 309 × 0 dp”.

I really can't figure out why the height is 0dp. Can you help me?

According to AdMob documentation / guidelines

The ad view needs to have the full width of the device. Because you provide padding for the layout, you cannot fill the entire width of the layout

You can solve this problem by simply deleting the padding in relativelayout
