Android – phonegap splashScreen direction

When setting the startup screen for the mobile screen application, even if I make a large picture with a logo in the center, the picture will stretch on the whole screen. Ideally, I want the picture to just sit in the center with a black or white background. How do I configure the behavior of the startup screen?

There is a better solution: just put the following splash.xml in RES / drawable (modify the Android: SRC property) and change the reference to r.drawable.splash in the setintegerproperty() call
