Android – how to get image URI from Gallery

I need to get an image from the gallery. I can open the gallery to select an image, but it will not return anything after selecting an image. I need to send the fileuri to another activity and display it on ImageView. I can make this camera like a button, click it to call the camera, and then I capture the image and send it to another activity

But I don't understand what I use for the gallery. Please help me
