Android notification.bigtextstyle behavior

When I create a notification, I observe the following behavior

Notification.setContextText("Teaser text.  Read more...");
Notification.setStyle(new Notification.BigTextStyle().bigText("full text ..."));

>When the notification appears at the top of the list (or the only notification), I will see that the whole "full text" is wrapped in multiple lines as needed. > when there are other notifications above this notification, I will see "Teaer text. Learn more...". > If I ignore the bigtextstyle bit above and just issue setcontenttext ("full text..."), The full text will be partially displayed and will not wrap around

Is this expected behavior? Can it be modified in some way to always - that is, when the notification is not at the top of the list - display large text - or wrap contenttext? I will have any help and tips on this

What you see is correct. By default, only the top notification will expand, but the user can always expand any notification (by sliding down with two fingers or pressing and sliding down with one finger). Your notification cannot always be expanded programmatically or programmatically
