Android – unable to launch eclipse from ADT bundle in Ubuntu 12.04

So I downloaded the ADT package for Linux from developer.android.com, extracted it, 32-bit version, went to ADT bundle Linux x86 / eclipse and tried to start eclipse, but it gave me an error

I am a stranger to Linux and Ubuntu... So can someone help me solve this problem?: P

Edit: the problem is that I still haven't solved the problem by extracting it on removable media and allowing the executable file as a program (attribute – > permissions), so I have to transfer it to my (static) Linux partition. This solves the problem

These days, I encountered the same problem when trying to write cocos2d-x games with ADT bundle Linux. Now I finally searched through Google for hours. It turns out that this has nothing to do with ADT bundle Linux. The fact is that Linux security settings cause this situation. It disables any executable files from other sources (in this case, it comes from the Internet and Linux regards it as a dangerous and unreliable file). Just right-click eclipse and select properties, then go to the permissions tab and select allow files to be executed as programs. I hope this will help you. ^^
