Android – push notification after an application is killed

I can't seem to receive the FCM push notification sent from the FCM console after I kill the application on Android, such as long pressing the overview button and swiping the application to be killed. When the application runs in the foreground or background, it works normally. This seems to be a repeated problem, but I tried other methods, but I still can't seem to get it

I have exactly the same problem. Notifications work well in foreground and background mode, but not when the application is killed. Finally, I found this: https://github.com/firebase/quickstart-android/issues/41#issuecomment -306066751

The problem is the debugging mode in Android studio. To test your notification correctly, please do the following: run your application through debugging in Android studio. Slide to kill it. Restart the application through the launcher icon on your phone. Slide it again (so it is killed)

Send your notification and you will see it now!
