Java – Eclipse console exception color

This seems simple, but I can't seem to find a setting in eclipse to change it

I like my console with dark white text I leave printing as the red default to stderr

My problem is that when I receive an exception, it is set to a very dark blue, so I can't see its text without highlighting the link

I don't see it in console preferences, nor will I see it anywhere in various other settings

Solution

Changing the color of hyperlink text will do what you want, but this is used elsewhere in eclipse, so you may need to choose a color that is quite clear on light and dark backgrounds
