I'm providing lines of code for my java project, which also contains many XML files Now my problem is to calculate the lines of code Do I still need to consider XML lines of code? Please help

IMO calculated code lines are a poor quality indicator I think this is a good day to delete hundreds of lines of code

But answer your question If your XML is handwritten and represents metadata that configures your application, then I'll think it's code
