I use spring roo and JPA (hibernate) as my entity model I don't want to have a @ version field in some entities How can I do this?

Solution

After generating the entity, modify the Java source file of the entity with the following methods before exiting the roo shell

@RooJpaActiveRecord(......,versionField = "")
