Example of PowerDesigner connecting to database

PowerDesigner connects to the database roughly as shown in the following figure:

Select the database type to connect to:

There are two options: first, import SQL script files; 2、 Connect data source

Select a connection data source:

Select the corresponding connection type in the pop-up dialog box; There are many ways. Here we use JDBC connection, so we choose the third item: connection profile - > configure

In the following dialog box, select the option of add data source:

Select the corresponding database connection method and database type:

Click test connection to confirm, confirm, and then select the connection just created in the originally opened dialog box:

Click Connect to connect to the corresponding database.
