Java – can ESB / BPM completely get rid of coding in addition to wrapping web services?

Most companies find that the reality is: 1) installing and integrating ESB / BPM tools takes more effort than they believe, 2) the smallest changes can be made only with the tool - it still requires coders to perform any meaningful process changes / additions, and 3) whenever ESB / BPM tool suppliers upgrade their tools, Upgrading and qualifying for support is a huge effort (look at the history of any of these tools and the upgrades experienced by the store, especially webmethods and bea / Oracle products over the years). 4) support services are expensive, And rarely provide help (I know that companies that have paid for advanced support have submitted dozens of tickets, and only one or two of them have been solved.
