Java – which file is the eclipse deployment assembly configured in?

I don't seem to be here The configuration was found in the project file I'm looking for a way to programmatically change this setting to "I don't know why", and my eclipse will lose this configuration every time I clean up the project

The deployment assembly settings are stored in a file:

.settings/org.eclipse.wst.common.component

However, in a basic J2EE eclipse installation, the file should not be modified by cleaning up the project Perhaps you have installed some other plug - ins to update the deployment settings during the build process
