java – LinkedBlockingQueue put vs offer
I have a linked blocking queue and I am performing insert and delete operations
I need to know which is better to put or provide link blocking queues
Performance parameters are CPU utilization, memory, and overall throughput
The application uses a real-time system, in which there can be multiple incoming requests and fewer threads to process where we need to insert elements in the queue
I read that the put and offer of Java documents are not much different in internal applications
Solution
In fact, you can't compare the performance between the two. The providing method is to provide to the queue and don't wait or wait for the specified time, but the put method waits infinitely long until space is available, so their use is different
Use where you can't loosen items. Remember that it will block your phone stack, otherwise use quotation
