What are some prominent real-world applications of Java?
I am a beginner programmer. The I & CS course in our school let us start learning Java In my opinion, C and its separation are more common in the real world It's true?
More specifically, I want to know when programmers prefer java to other languages OpenOffice is definitely a prominent example of Java, but can't it be encoded with anything else?
Solution
Unless you are writing games, embedded device software, maintaining traditional software, or writing high-performance parallel computing software (such as CUDA), you can now get more Java than C / C + + C # actually derives more from Java than C, despite the name, if you think of it (many people think it is better than Java, including myself)
The saying that Java is slower than C / C + + is slowly and steadily becoming a myth (see this benchmark, for example) It is certainly more programmer friendly, and is rapidly emerging more and more enterprise class solutions dedicated to Java, its development and deployment in the real world
Especially in server applications, you will find that Java is achieving great success In most current fields, it is controversial whether it is really the second place in C / C + +
