What do comments in Java – IntelliJ source code mean?

When looking for the source code of the IntelliJ idea Community Edition project in GitHub, I found the following symbols in one of the files:

First, you should notice that you are reading the test data, not the source file itself This is probably a simulation of a file that will be loaded into IntelliJ

< caret > will refer to the position of the caret in the file, that is, the flashing cursor< Select > will be the currently selected code, which is why it has a start and end tag
