Which Java reporting tool will be used for small and medium-sized webapps in 2010

We have a web application that contains some forms and integrates with mobile applications We will generate reports based on data collected in forms and mobile applications Given their maturity today and years later, which tool should we choose?

We are not for profit, so the less the cost, the better I know Jasper reports, pentaho and birt are leading competitors, but should we focus on other solutions? What factors should be retained while narrowing the solution?

You know, we want to develop tools on windows and deploy them on Linux In addition, webapp has been built using GWT
