Java – is there a standard location for storing spring library jar files?

I have downloaded spring 3.0 with dependencies 2. It is found that it contains 405 jar files I usually save third-party libraries in the "lib" subdirectory, but there are too many spring jars. It seems wise to save them separately so that they will not drown other libraries and simplify version upgrade

I suspect I want to keep the complete library set in subversion, but only deploy the subset actually used

Do spring users have a standard way to deal with this problem?

Solution

Most "dependence" is unnecessary, it is actually a "kitchen sink" distribution I recommend that you only put the spring jars themselves into lib and add other jars only when needed

In fact, you can choose the spring jars you need - it's divided into several, so you can choose the right one There should be a readme file in the distribution that describes what jars you need and what they depend on
