Java – how to implement the JSR specification

I am considering implementing one or two JSR APIs I haven't read the entire specification (the plan is to read them when writing implementation code), but I'm very familiar with them I have read the JSR process, including the implementation test Compatibility Kit (TCK) to test the JSR implementation

Before I started writing a series of unit tests to verify the correctness / integrity of my implementation, I really wanted to use this TCK, but I didn't know if it was suitable for me After downloading all the files and searching Google, I can't find anything that can be defined as TCK for a given JSR

So my question is basically: what steps do I need to take to generate my own JSR specification implementation, and how to verify that I have indeed done so

For its value, I am considering implementing JSR - 168 and JSR - 286, but I think it has nothing to do with this problem

What you might need to do is contact the specification owner for a given JSR They can provide you with more information about getting TCK

You may need to pay permission to gain access to TCK Of course, for the Java se specification, sun does charge a license fee for TCK unless you are eligible to receive it for free as a non-profit organization

In other words, I think it varies from JSR to JSR, so as I said above, the best way is to contact the JSR specification director
