ODBC interface / driver written in Java

I am looking for a way to expose my Java EE application server through ODBC connection That is; I need to provide the data in as to the application that uses ODBC to connect to it

This may mean that I have to write a custom ODBC driver in Java, which seems to be a difficult task

Do you have any experience in this field? Have you done it before? Any library has to start? Am I crazy?

Editor: This is the integration problem of my app server and client reading data from ODBC Especially in its first iteration, Microsoft SharePoint I already have a jax-ws, but unfortunately, this is not SharePoint / cudes / MS analysis service / MS reporting service, etc

The data is basically represented as a flat table The problem I encountered was low - end stuff Agreement, negotiation, certification If I can accept ODBC connection and push table data, I can use it for free

Solution

Elijah:

One suggestion is to use the SDK to build drivers 90% of the work has been completed in the SDK I work for Simba technologies, and that's what we do Help people like you build ODBC drivers in C, Java and c# Please visit our website at www.simba.com com
