How do i disable dead code elimination in the java compiler?

This seems to be a strange question... Why does anyone want to disable such things? But I know what I'm doing (and why I want / need to) I really want to disable dead code elimination

Is it possible?

By the way, I use eclipse if it is relevant

I haven't come across any way to do this There seems to be no relevant choice

However, it should be clear that eliminating dead code may (may) be done by either or both bytecode compiler and JIT So you need to know what kind of situation you care about (I guess this is a bytecode compiler...)
